Use the daily tide timetables and weather forecasts on this page to plan a safe launch from Par Harbour. Health and safety is a high priority for the club, and we encourage all members to check local conditions before heading down to the slipway. As noted in our club guidelines, the ongoing silting up of the harbour means launching and retrieval is not permitted within 2.5 hours either side of low water — there simply isn't enough water on the slipway. The slipway is also steep and prone to “greening up” during the season, so extra care is always needed. Check the tide times below to plan your launch and recovery windows around high water.
